Corie Shupe, Associate Director of Conference Services

Corie Shupe is the associate director of Conference Services and director of finance at Continuing and Professional Education (CPE). She began her career at the University of Oregon in 2001 with the Continuing Education Center, coordinating registration and speaker logistics for multiple events. Over the years, she has worked in every area of event services, including exhibit and sponsor management, logistics, accounting, and finance. Now, as part of the CPE Leadership Team, Corie focuses on fostering collaborative partnerships with clients while leading the exhibit and sponsor team. She also oversees fiscal operations and projections, contributing to strategic and financial planning.

Corie holds a B.A. in History from the University of Notre Dame. In 2010, she decided to continue her education, earning a J.D. from the University of Oregon in 2013. A vocal fan of both her undergraduate and law alma maters, she can often be found sporting plenty of green while cheering on the Fighting Irish and the Ducks.

Based in Des Moines, Iowa, Corie telecommutes full-time. A fierce Manchester City supporter, she spends weekend mornings passionately debating Premier League soccer over coffee with her husband. As she begins to plan for life as an empty nester, she enjoys taking Frank the dog on long walks while listening to audiobooks.
