Coding Boot Camp

An immersive, 24-week program teaching in-demand technologies for full stack web development. Gain hands-on experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Node.js, MongoDB, and more to build a professional portfolio. Part-time, meets in-person on evenings and weekends in Portland.

Conference Services

Conference Services provides administrative support to a variety of conferences and noncredit workshops, including events offered by academic departments and individual faculty members.

Data Analytics Boot Camp

A robust, 24-week program covering the specialized skills for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing data. Gain real-world experience with Python, Tableau, Machine Learning, R, JavaScript, SQL, and more. Part-time, meets in-person on evenings and weekends in Portland.

DSLR Video Bootcamp

This four day hands-on workshop will cover best practices in planning, shooting and editing a journalistic video story. You will learn how to use a DSLR camera and a digital audio recorder to create a concise two-minute video story which you will edit using Adobe Premiere.

Geology of Central Oregon

A series of two-day courses focusing on how and why volcanoes erupt is available to educators and community members to enhance their knowledge of geologic processes. Each course consists of a lecture plus field trip. Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) are available.

Immersive Media

This course offers three-segments over eight weeks in the University of Oregon’s exciting and innovative Oregon Reality (OR) Lab in Portland. The program is designed to take participants on a journey through the evolution of social VR, explore immersive platforms and learn the foundations of building content for virtual environments.

Professional Development for Educators

A selection of one and two-day workshops is available for educators to enhance learning for students. Workshops meet licensure requirements for K-12 educators; academic credit and Professional Development Units (PDUs) are available.

Sports Product Management Workshops

These workshops offer participants a chance to advance their knowledge in specific areas of sports product theory and hands-on practice. Workshops are led by industry experts. All noncredit workshops are currently offered in Portland, Oregon. Certificates of attendance (PDUs) and completion are available.
