You’ll get practical, hands-on experience in identifying high-impact automation opportunities and building an end-to-end automated workflow using AI and no-code tools. You’ll also learn the fundamentals of AI agents and agentic AI—and when to apply them in your workflows. This non-degree program is offered in partnership with Ziplines Education.

A 5-week, online mentored noncredit certificate course in AI prompting essentials. This beginner-friendly course is tailored for learners seeking practical AI prompting skills. Participants will practice using ChatGPT to build a professional AI toolkit, craft custom GPTs, and learn to incorporate AI strategies into their business workflows. The program blends on-demand lessons with optional weekly live/online roundtables led by industry experts. This non-degree program is offered in partnership with Ziplines Education.
AI for Data Analysis
A 5-week, online mentored noncredit certificate course in AI and data analysis. This advanced course focuses on building a repeatable AI-enabled process for turning data into clear, defensible business recommendations. Learners will move beyond basic prompting to develop core AI competencies for data-driven decision-making, including structured problem framing, AI-assisted analysis, output validation, and the translation of insights into clear recommendations. AI for HR Professionals
A 5-week, online mentored noncredit certificate course in strategic use of AI in the talent lifecycle. This beginner-friendly course helps HR professionals apply AI to recruiting, onboarding, employee engagement, and more. Participants will learn to automate repetitive tasks, generate high-quality HR content, analyze employee data, and build custom AI assistants without a technical background. A 5-week online noncredit certificate course in AI skills for marketers. This advanced course focuses on AI techniques applicable across content, growth, brand, lifecycle, and performance marketing. Participants will gain hands-on experience using tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, and other generative AI platforms to accelerate creative production, uncover competitive insights, optimize campaigns, and build lightweight automations. A 10-week, online mentored noncredit certificate course in business analytics. Gain a foundational understanding of data modeling, accessing data with SQL, data visualization, and KPI development, as well as digital tools such as Tableau, Microsoft Excel, and AI. Collaborative Archaeology Field School
This field school is a 12-credit-hour course designed to train students in Indigenous, collaborative, and decolonizing archaeology principles. This course teaches students how to conduct archaeological research with diverse stakeholders, including Indigenous peoples, descendant communities, non-profits, and state and federal agencies. Students will be immersed in the complexities of collaborative research grounded in shared decision-making, reciprocity, power sharing, and centering Indigenous perspectives.

Generative AI in Transactional Practice
This two-week online, asynchronous microcredential is designed for legal professionals who are early in their use of generative AI in transactional practice. It introduces the practical integration of generative AI into transactional work, with a focus on professional judgment, ethical considerations, analysis, and efficiencies.

A 10-week, online mentored noncredit certificate course in project management. Gain skills and qualifications in project management with practical training and technical certifications including the Atlassian Jira Software Essentials Associate Certification, 23 hours toward the Project Management Institute’s Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Certification, and hands-on experience working with Google Sheets and Microsoft Project. Rising Leader Forum
The Rising Leader Forums (RLF) program is a rigorous and highly-experiential in-person “learning lab” which fosters long-term leadership development via six 2-day in-person sessions with individual work between each, held over a 7–8-month time frame. The Society for Information Management (SIM) has been offering this noncredit certificate program for over 30 years, now with certificate support from UO CPE.
